RooCam LIVE! - TONIGHT! The fun starts TONIGHT at 9:35 pm U.S. Central Time! --- We'll get started tonight on my RooToo channel with some fan-made Pony Music Videos (PMVs) followed by a selection of classic short cartoons on "Toon In With Me" and some new episodes from favorite animated TV shows. We'll finish up with an adventure starring that master sleuth from Japan, Mr. Moto. And, if I'm not too wiped out from all this video excitement, I might host a live art-stream on my Twitch and Picarto channels. Stay tuned! --- And on Saturday, the RooToo Channel starts out with three hours of classic cartoons at 1:55 pm CT, followed by The Three Stooges, Svengoolie, Star Trek and Kolchak: The Night Stalker. --- The Ponies are back! PONYVERSARY -- a portmanteau of "pony" and "anniversary."
It was early February, 2011, that I more or less became a "brony," i.e., a fan of the animated TV series, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
I was on vacation in Florida at the time. When I wasn't hanging out with friends at various theme parks, I spent my "downtime" surfing the web. That's when I discovered websites like Equestria Daily and the now-defunct Ponibooru, and drawings like this one. I had already seen a few episodes of the show, including the two-part pilot, and I enjoyed what I saw. But after that one weekend in Florida the little light when on and I said to myself, "Oh, NOW I get it!" The rest, as they say, is history.
Hard to believe it's been a little over TWELVE years since the debut of MLP:FIM. To celebrate, we'll start out on the RooToo channel with some of my favorite fan-made Pony Music Videos (PMVs) and follow that with a selection of classic short cartoons on "Toon In With Me." We'll finish up with another visit to Baker Street and SHERLOCK HOLMES. And, if I'm not too exhausted from all this nostalgia, I'll start a live art stream on the RooCam LIVE! Twitch and Picarto channels.
